About Jo Bogacz
Compassionate, evidence-based Yoga & Yoga Therapy to help you manage your health condition, find mental balance, and reconnect with your body.
Yoga Therapist & Teacher | Founder, Yoga Health Connect CIC
My journey with yoga began in the 1990's during recovery from a chronic health condition. My lived experience highlighted the transformative power of yoga as a tool for recovery, change, and choice.
Today, I combine my background in social justice and professional legal training as a solicitor, with clinical expertise to make yoga accessible, integrated, and deeply restorative. Whether you are managing a long-term health condition, navigating mental health struggles, or seeking physical balance, I can provide a compassionate, safe space to help you reconnect with yourself.
My approach
Every session is tailored to your unique physical, mental, and emotional needs. My gentle, nurturing approach combines:
-
Asana & Pranayama: Mindful, embodied movement and breathwork for somatic well-being.

Mindfulness & Nidra: Deep relaxation to soothe your nervous system.

"I thoroughly enjoy your classes and really feel I have benefitted from them, especially with your focus on technique. I see and feel progress in such a short time especially with my flexibility and balance." - Craig
"I like the fact you emphasise breathing and the "meditative" side of yoga whilst doing postures." - Marion
"A good progressive course which I have enjoyed. Looking at health benefits, the class helps as part of my fitness and weight control plan. The big win for me is breathing which is always something I go back to. I like and appreciate the informal teaching approach." - Stephen
"I am really finding the class helpful in managing my stress levels and increasing my balance & strength."
- Siobhan
"Yoga classes have helped me become more relaxed. I feel a lot calmer and more focused on day to day tasks now." - Matthew

"I believe the classes have had an impact on me as my neck is less stiff, I definitely move and stretch more as a result - all the time actually; at work and at home. I noticed a difference when I was unable to attend as we didn't have a class. I really enjoy the classes and look forward to the peaceful nature of them in amongst my busy work and home life, many thanks for this." - Victoria
